This gallery, and the one below, display Hester Heuff's functional works from the early 2000 till the present. While Heuff enjoyed throwing in the past (she used St Thomas white clay, which is a bit short for throwing) she now mainly hand builds. Over the years she has developed some functional glazes at cone 6, which are durable and safe. Her emphasis is always on form and decorative effects.
